What They Needed
AMI wanted a name that signaled its leadership in Hardware Root-of-Trust, a security technology that extends its firmware innovation into new competencies. They also wanted an ownable .com.
Name
Following two rounds of exploration and several runners up, AMI selected Tektagon, a coined word meant that conveys the idea of many faceted technology protection. Think pentagon, hexagon, octagon…tektagon.
